Carburetor Induction Airbox Assembly
Description:
New airbox assembly made for Air Plains 180hp engine upgrade. Carb heat airbox assembly includes control arm assembly and corrosion proof shaft along with other improvements over the original airbox design.
If you have an Air Plains 172-180hp that was done prior to 2011 it is very likely the original airbox was modified per the STC and reinstalled. While the previous process works just fine, Air Plains has improved the upgrade kit to now include the airbox assembly ready to install out of the box with the STC Kit purchase.
Latest Improvements:
- Airbox arm has been improved to a hardened material with a thicker cross section.
- Added nutplates to the front of the airbox to accomodate the Brackett Air Filter if already installed
